Good Points at Brands Hatch

More good points were gained at round four of the Dickies British Supersport Championship at the Brands Htch GP circuit. Ben Wilson secured a fantastic fourth place and Ross Twyman 10th Supersport rider in race one. Ben was sixth in race two with Ross 12th.

Ben had a good weekend and was continuously improving his lap times managing to qualify in 7th place for race one. As the race got underway it began to rain and the race was red-flagged. It was re-started as an 8 lap wet race. Ben got a fantastic start and was away with the leaders and as the rain became heavier he briefly moved to the front and was fighting hard for a podium but just missing out to finish fourth.

He started from 8th for the second race but despite his best efforts was unable to push to the front and had to settle for a solid sixth after making a stunning pass on the final corner on the final lap to gain two more places.

Ross had a small crash during qualifying which lost him some precious time on track qualifying in 16th place on the grid for race one. He rode a strong race to finish 10th Supersport rider. For race two he started from 15th to finish in a good 12th.

Team Manager Michael de Bidaph - "We continued the progress we made at the last meeting now that we have gone back to our original bikes and Ben had a strong weekend scoring valuable points.

Unfortunately Ross is still not comfortable with the bike and we are all working hard to find a solution as we all know what he is capable of achieving".
