Wins and Podiums at Brands Hatch

It was another great weekend for the team in the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship. Alastair Seeley secured a second place in race one and a stunning race victory in race two. Ben Wilson gained a third and fourth place in these tough races.

Alastair was on form on a track he has been particularly strong at in previous years and was on the front row in fourth position for the opening ten lap race. He got a strong start and was up to second by lap three. He was locked in a tight battle for the lead for the remainder of the race just missing out on the win by 0.1 second. The second race was just as compelling and in one of the most thrilling Supersport races of recent years he he took a fantastic win by just 0.004 sec.

Ben also had a solid weekend and despite only starting form eighth position on the grid in race one he managed to force his way through to finish with a great podium in third place. He got one of his fantastic starts in the second race and soon was in the lead but a grip problem saw his lap times slow eventually finishing in a creditable fourth place.

In the Pirelli National Superstock 600 class, Luke Hedger finally got the win he so deserves. Luke who has been poised for a win at previous races worked hard all weekend and despite a steady start he worked his way through a tough pack for a fantasic first win in this class. Mark Wilkinson continued his good form and equalled his best race performance finishing in sixth place.

Team Manager Michael de Bidaph - " I'm really once again very pleased with the results we have had in both classes this weekend. They all had bad practise and qualifying sessions and this thankfully was all turned around on race day and we gained some brilliant results.

Alastair once again had a great weekend and leads the Championship by 40 points, he is riding consistently well and keeps plugging away with podiums and wins. Despite his off track experience in the second race he was able to re-group and make the pass for a fantastic win.

Ben was struggling all weekend with gearing set -up and in race two with grip issues, despite this he was still able to get two solid results and holds third in the standings.

In the Superstock 600 we knew the win for Luke would be coming soon so we were really pleased it came this weekend, he has been riding exceptionally well in every round and is making very quick progress in his first season in this Championship. Mark is also a brilliant rider and this is showing in the short time he has been with the team. They work well together and i am sure there is more to come from both of them.

We have a great team now and the results are showing that all the hard work, dedication and commitment by everyone in the team, the riders, mechanics and sponsors is all becoming very worthwhile."

Winning Weekend at Snetterton

It was another fantastic weekend for the team. Alastair Seeley this time took the double win in both Motorpoint British Supersport races with Ben Wilson gaining third and second places.

Alastair was in great form on a track that he has been particularly strong at in previous years. He set ultra quick lap times during practice putting him in a comfortable pole position. He led from the start in race one taking the win by a great 5.3 seconds. In race two he took the lead on lap two winning this time by 3.7 seconds regaining his lead in the Championship.

Ben also had another great weekend and is now third in the Championship. He made a strong start with Alastair in race one but the bike sufferred a technical problem but he managed to nurse it home for a good third place. Despite setting some fast lap times in race two he was unable to reel Alastair in and finished in a strong second place.

In the Pirelli National Superstock 600 class it was another awesome weekend for Luke Hedger who had his first pole position and then secured another second place promoting him to second in the Championship. Mark Wilkinson continued his good form achieving his best qualifying position and again finishing in his best position of sixth place.

Team Manager Michael de Bidaph - "I'm really pleased again with the results that we have secured and with Alastair back leading the Championship and Ben up to third the team are very happy. Alastair was on form all weekend and he does love Snetterton and holds the lap record here. The test was really useful and from the offset they were both riding well. Ben was unfortunate in race one with a small bike problem causing him to miss out on a potential second place but two wins and two podiums in such a difficult class is a great achievement for us. Luke had another really good weekend, he's disappointed having been strong all weekend not to get the race win. He still rode a fantastic race and for his rookie year in this tough championship is doing a great job for the team. Mark continues to settle well into the team and is improving every race. This is only his third race for the team so we are really pleased with what he is achieving. I'm really pleased for the whole team as they all work so hard and put so many hours in so getting results like this makes it all worthwhile."
