Alastair Seeley and Ben Wilson sign for Gearlink Kawasaki to race the NW200

Gearlink Kawasaki is very pleased to announce our plans for the Vauxhall International North West 200 in 2016. We have signed multi NW200 winner Alastair Seeley and long term Gearlink Kawasaki rider Ben Wilson.

The team is fielding two very strong riders at the Irish event which is being held between the 8th -14th May. We are extremely excited about running Alastair and Ben together again on the Kawasaki ZX-6R Supersport bikes, the pair will be re-united after being Gearlink Kawasaki team-mates in 2013.

Alastair has won an incredible 15 North West 200 races and will be hoping to extend that tally in 2016. Ben will make his second appearance following a successful "rookie" year last year at the fantastic Northern Irish road racing circuit.

Alastair Seeley - "I am very happy to be riding for the family team of Michael and Norma at Gearlink Kawasaki again plus back working with my former crew chief Arron Phillips.

I hope we can start where we left off at the NW200 in 2013, where i won with them. As the bike model hasn't changed for a number of years, hopefully i can just dial in my previous settings and be good to go from the start.

Anything I've asked for the event this year, Michael has agreed and assures me that we willl have strong motors, which i am buzzing about."

Ben Wilson - "I am looking forward to making my return to the NW200 this year, last year was a learning year and i really enjoyed the experience that i got there. I know the Gearlink Kawasaki team so well and i know we can achieve some really strong results there.

I secured 11th and 9th places last year and will be pushing hard to improve on those results this year and thank Michael and Norma for the opportunity."

Team Owner Michael de Bidaph - "It is really exciting for the team to have secured such a strong line-up to compete in the NW200 this year with Alastair and Ben.

Alastair rode our Supersport bike there in 2013 but due to unfortunate circumstances Norma and I were unable to attend, so it will be great to be fully involved this year with Alastair and Ben. It was Ben's first time there last year so now he knows his way around i am sure he will also be very competitive.

Ben and Alastair both had a successful season with us in the British Supersport Championship in 2013 and it would be great to get some strong results at the North West 200."

Vittorio Iannuzzo signs for Gearlink Kawasaki to ride the Superbike

Gearlink Kawasaki are pleased to announce that  Vittorio Iannuzzo has signed to ride our Kawasaki ZX-10R Superbike for this year's MCE British Superbike Championship.

The experienced former European Superstock Champion made his debut in the British Championship last season with several appearances but this year will be his first full season in the Championship.

Vittorio Iannuzzo - " I am proud to be part of this team because they are already one of the top teams in the Supersport Championship and when i met with them i had the feeling that they also want to become the same in the Superbike class, so together we have goals for the season ahead. The team has some really cool people and we have a good test test schedule planned so for sure it should be an easier start to the season this time for me compared to last year.

We must work hard together to get results but i am looking forward to that this year. We know that BSB is one of the strongest championships in the world, with so many top riders and teams, but we can progress in every race and we will be trying hard to make steps forward.

Team Owner Michael de Bidaph -"I am really happy to have signed Vittorio for the 2016 British Superbike season. I was in talks with him last year but at that time he had other commitments so i am delighted to be working with him this season.

It will certainly be a challeng for both of us especially a Vittorio is not that familiar with the British circuits but i am confident that, with the passion we both have to succeed, we will be able to have a great season."
