It was a steady weekend for the team at the Thruxton round of the Motorpoint Brtish Supersport Championship. Glenn Irwin was sixth in race one and fourth in race two. Luke Hedger gained a seventh and fifth with Ben Wilson eighth and seventh.

The team worked hard throughout practice and qualifying to find a suitable set-up for the extremely fast and bumpy circuit. Luke was the quickest Gearlink Kawasaki rider in qualifying being placed sixth on the grid for race one with Glenn seventh and Ben tenth.

Glenn got a good start and was up to sixth after lap one and despite several changes of position was just beaten on the line to finish sixth. For race two he was locked for the entire race in a battle for a podium place to finish in a great fourth place.

Luke again was riding consistently well and despite a poor start in race one he set some strong lap times in the closing stages of the race to secure seventh. He started on the grid for race two in fifth place and was involved in the same battle as Glenn to finally finish in a creditable fifth place.

Ben struggled to find a suitable set-up only managing to qualify for race one in tenth place on the grid. He got one of his usual fast starts and was soon seventh and locked in a batlle with his two team mates to finish in eighth place. For race two he started from seventh place to finish seventh.

The team had Barry Burrell riding the Superbike for them for the weekend in the MCE British Superbike Championship. Barry has not ridden much this season so it was a big task but he qualified well in 24th place finishing race one in 18th and race two in 21st place. 

Team Manager Michael de Bidaph - "We struggled with set-up all weekend on the Supersport bikes but managed to get it right for race two and had to use the first race as data set-up. It has been a tough and frustrating weekend for all the riders but it was good to see some decent results for the second race. We know what we need to do to move forwards and we will be working hard before the nect meeting at Cadwell Park to make some changes and get back up at the front.

It was a big ask for Barry to step in like he did this weekend and he worked hard on the bike and finished both races. He already has other committments for Cadwell Park weekend so is unable to re-join us there."
